The Pre Event for Sapporo International Butoh Festival 2017
Yoshito Ohno Butoh Sapporo4days
In Sapporo, which is close to the city of Hakodate where Kazuo Ohno was born and raised, the Sapporo International Butoh Festival 2017 will be held next year. The festival aims at transmitting Butoh from its originated country Japan, especially from Hokkaido where unique butoh dancers are active lately. As a precedent event to the festival, Yoshito Ohno gives a workshop and performances and also attends a symposium.
