This poster is for the commemorative performance series for Tatsumi Hijikata, who passed away in January of 1986. Saison Theatre's original plan to produce Hijikata's own piece was not realized due to his death. In this series, each Butoh dancer dedicated a performance to Hijikata each night. Kazuo Ohno performed "Water Lilies" with Yoshito for the first time in Japan, which was premiered in Stuttgart in June in the same year. There exist a program and a video recording.
